When I put forth the effort and take a leap of faith, I tend to do well at whatever I put my mind to. This has always been the case with photography. If I take the time to think ahead, read-up, experiment, and give it a shot, things work great more often than not. And I get a thrill from seeing the final product. And a thrill from reviewing and critiquing my own work.
But for all the good shots, there are twenty mediocre ones. I have a lot to learn. I always will. And I'm okay with that. I did something I've been wanting to do for a while... I ordered some business cards. Angeline Allen Photography is officially in the making. Brent supports the idea and thinks it would be great if I could eventually leave the day job behind to do something a bit more fitting of my passions in life.
I mentioned I had a photo shoot with my friend Heidi's daughter, Tori. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day. It was definitely a fun day and I'm already looking forward to next time!
