Bottom line, Brinkley & Co exists because I’m a creative person and a dreamer at heart, and I needed an outlet to be creative.  I love writing, taking photos, baking, cooking, and eating.  I also like sharing.  I like connecting with people.

I’m an avid blog reader myself.  Catching up on blogs each day is, to me, reading the newspaper.  Following others through life, whether I know them or not, allows me to keep a check on my own sanity, or insanity.  This site is not created for vanity or to beat my own drum.  It’s a matter of me making the absolute most of my time on earth, which requires gratitude, enthusiasm, celebrating, and reflection.

What topics will you see on Brinkley & Co?  My interests are vast so don’t expect one or two topics obsessively featured.  I love spending time with my awesome family, my boyfriend, and Mr. Miles.  I’m addicted to coffee, but have made it my mission to extremely moderate my visits to coffee shops.  

My other interests include scrap-booking with my awesome friends from college, Heidi and Bryn, camping, hiking, gardening with my mom, and dreaming about owning a small homestead and raising a couple of rug rats.  

If I inspire even one person to “carpe diem,” just as many other bloggers have done for me, then all the work to share my ramblings and photos will be worth it.
