Walt Disney World: Day Three Part One

No, I haven't forgotten about Disney World!

Day Three was all about Magic Kingdom.  My brother wanted Moxon's first impression of Disney World to be classic Disney with lots of kid rides to entertain him.  So off we went bright eyed and bushy tailed to the Magic Kingdom.

Castle!!!  It's always good to see the Castle!  Squee!!  First stop was actually off Main Street to get Moxon's Mickey ears embroidered with his name.

The first ride we hit up was Snow White's Scary Adventure.  This ride will be closing soon so it was nice to ride it one last time.  It will be pretty cool to have another roller coaster to ride though the next we go!!

I have no control over the faces Moxon's make.  I have no idea why is making this face.  I told him to smile.  He will be a pro photo bomber someday when he knows what he is actually doing.

Our very first ride as a larger group and with Moxon... the ride stopped mid-run.  This would be the first of many ride stops.  I'll rant about this in a later post.  So we had plenty of time to get pictures.  Moxon looks a little more excited.

More group photos on It's A Small World!!  Monty hates this ride.  We made it a challenge to find a hidden Mickey.  We didn't find any.  I should have studied a Hidden Mickey guide book before going on the trip.

It's a world of laughter, a world of cheer...

It's a small, small, world....

And yes, I have the song stuck in my head now.  I hope you to do too.  You're welcome.

The Haunted Mansion added some cool distractions while you wait in line.  It used to be the headstones in the graveyard but now they have these interactive thing to play with.  This is a musical crypt.  You push on the instruments and a belts out a few chords.  There was another one that had books that popped out when you pushed them...kind of like whack a mole.  Moxon loved that part!

Mox was not a fan of Haunted Mansion.  Even though it was one of the rides he had looked forward to he freaked out in the room where the ceiling moves up and it goes dark.  He closed his eyes through most of the ride.  Although, I think he did peak out a few times because he was talking about bits and pieces of it later in the day.

We hit up the Peter Pan ride at some point in the morning.  Brent thought it was a pretty cool ride.  And Moxon exclaimed, "That's the awesomest ride ever" when we got off!  Peter Pan never fails to impress!

This is my brother.  He's trying to look cool sitting in a teacup.  He failed.  After taking this photo we spun around like crazy! CRAZY!  We may have set a land speed record for tea cup spinning.  When we got off my cheeks hurt from smiling and laughing so much.  Weeeeee!

We made pretty good tracks on our first day.  We also hit up Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger spin, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Carousel of Progress, and the 3 o'clock parade!!!!

He had a great time, I swear!  Don't let his grumpy faces fool you.  A second later, he was probably smiling.  This is about 2 minutes post-nap sitting awkwardly in a stroller...so not bad really.

After waiting for parade and sitting through the parade (which I thought was pretty darn short in comparison to past parades) we were all pretty well drained from our morning and afternoon adventures so we headed back to the hotel to recharge.  Moxon didn't quite make it that far and decided to start recharging in the line for the bus.

It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all...
