A few days ago someone mentioned that runners were still needed for the Colorado Law Enforcement Torch Run. I volunteered once I found it the run was a distance and pace I could handle. So this morning I woke up a little earlier than normal and headed downtown.
To my surprise, my brother was there! I never thought I would be able to say that I went running with my brother. And wouldn't it just figure that he can run 4 miles with no training whatsoever.
It was a pretty good run overall. There was about a half mile there where the pace picked up but we all survived and made it to our final destination. The run was around 4 miles and we did it in 45 minutes! I would have been up running this morning anyway so I'm glad I was able to turn it into something a bit more worth while!
