Tuesday Tidbits

Last night while reading in bed I got a text from my brother. He asked if I wanted to hang out with him and my nephew today. Like I could turn that down!! We hit up my pool and had a blast.

Uncle Marshal bought Mox some Yankees swim trunks. His dad hates the Yankees! The trunks will stay at my house for future pool shenanigans!!

I also got to play transport car when Uncle Marshal's truck broke down. Deputy Chester and I cruised out to Mom and Dad's place for dinner.

He's a handsome one, isn't he? His barks can be a little annoying but he's well behaved for the most part and a drug finding, bad guy hunting unit!!

We got a bunch of animal heads mounted on the wall at the new place.  And called Xcel for a gas leak. There was one coming from the furnace so that's shut down until it can be repaired.  The smell wasn't quite like rotting eggs.  It was more sour than rotten.  Better safe than sorry!

Earlier in the day Brent and I cleaned the house and got things put away from camping. I also got started organizing my photos on my external hard drive!! Finally!!  My goal is to try cleaning off my computer some so that it doesn't get completely bogged down like my old one.

Other randomness... Brent leaves for Alaska tomorrow morning in the wee hours so it means a very early morning wake up call.  Blah.  I better get the coffee pot ready now!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to deal with a flat tire at some point tomorrow.  My patrol car has a tire that is darn near flat will most likely be completely flat come morning.  That should make for a slow and boring start to my work day if I have to wait for the tire guys to come out and fix it before I can hit the road.  This will be the third flat tire in six months.  They are crappy tires and darn near bald.  Do you think I'll get new ones???  Yeah, I doubt it too.

I finally opened our Disney PhotoPass that arrived in the mail last week.  And made copies for everyone.  Yah!!  Group photos rock!

I'm off to get ready for bed.  Maybe I'll get in some more reading tonight.  I'm on a mission to read through my To Read books that overflowing from my nightstand.  I'm going to start packing my stuff.  One way or another this time next year, I'm house shopping!!
