I actually mentally engaged in what the heck I was doing. I focused on my form and tried to pick up the pace without feeling spent.
I averaged a 10:30 pace for about a mile and picked it all the way up to 9:45 ish for about 1/2 mile.
I was a sweaty mess when I got home but I was proud of myself for pushing harder. Maybe I would actually get faster if In consistently tried harder.
I avoided the coffee shop stop(s) today. This was a HUGE step towards the ladder to get me back up in the wagon. I've been horrible with the amount of lattés I've been drinking lately.
I was pretty tired when I got home thanks to little sleep last night. I did manage to make some onion and turkey meat for dinner.
Dinner was taco turkey, pinto beans, and tomatoes in mini lettuce wraps!! I was trying to avoid carbs, which I'd already had plenty of at lunch. It was delicious!! And I have leftovers for the next few days!
And now I'm in bed, crossing my fingers I get some decent sleep.
